Job Title: RN - Med Surg - Contract - MSW
Location: Mount Sinai West
Contract Length: 3x12 Schedule with every other weekend & holidays required
Job Summary: The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. This role involves delivering patient care through the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care, assessing and evaluating patient needs, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring quality and safety in all aspects of care.
Required Qualifications:
- Active NYS RN License
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- 2 years of Med/Surg experience
- EPIC experience highly preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN program
- 1 year travel experience for travel positions (not required for Per Diem positions)
