Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist CWR
Location: Not specified
Job Summary:
Provides immobilization devices as required and operates Nuclear Medicine equipment. Responsibilities include evaluating radio images using the PACS System, ensuring proper identification and diagnostic value, and providing radiation protection for self and patients. Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals, performs radionuclide procedures, and assists physicians in therapeutic use of radioisotopes. Additional duties include calibrating equipment, maintaining records of radioactive materials, and ensuring cleanliness and contamination-free conditions. Adheres to NRC, State, and JCAHO guidelines and policies.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a busy hospital setting as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Valid NJDEP license.
• ARRT or NMTCB registry.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications:
• General Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology experience.
• PET and CT experience.
• Skills in Phlebotomy, EPIC, and performing Nuclear Medicine and/or PET exams.
Additional Information:
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM (5 x 8-hour shifts).
• No weekends, holidays, or on-call assignments.
