Job Title: CV Invasive Specialist Location: Not specified Job Summary: Provides technical support in the cardiac catheterization laboratory during invasive cardiovascular procedures. Responsibilities include assisting physicians in radiological imaging, acting as a scrub assistant while maintaining sterile conditions, and operating imaging equipment. The role also involves patient care under RN supervision, educating patients and families about procedures, maintaining unit cleanliness, and ensuring appropriate stock levels for interventions. Additional duties include documentation, participation in quality and safety initiatives, and promoting organizational values. Required Qualifications:<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent.</li><li>Registered ARRT or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS) within 18 months of hire.</li><li>Registered Respiratory Therapist with CV-specific certification or RCIS or RCES.</li><li>BLS certification from the American Heart Association.</li><li>Current ACLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.</li><li>Fluoroscopy Certification.</li><li>Radiation badges supplied by the vendor.</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Two (2) years of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab.</li><li>Associate’s degree.</li></ul>
