Job Title: CT Scan Technologist CWR

Job Summary:
The Cat Scan Technologist performs computer tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation. They assist with interventional and therapeutic procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
Required Qualifications:
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiological positioning of the human body.
• Understanding of mechanical attributes of CT software and hardware.
• Thorough knowledge of PACS system.
• Maintains CEU Credits.
• ARRT (CT) certification within twelve months of hire.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within three months of hire.
• Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License.
• ARRT Certified R.T.(R) license.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Six months of CT experience.
• Knowledge of Epic and HIS/RIS systems.
• ARRT certified R.T. (CT) license.
Additional Information:
• M-F, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, 5x8s.
• Holidays required.
• No on-call.
• At least 2 years of CT experience required (5 years preferred).
• Experience with GE Equipment, Epic EMR, and Fuji PACS required.
• Ability to work in a busy ED and maintain workflow.
• Must be willing to work in dual modalities (X-ray & CT).
