Job Summary: To provide safe care for patients following established standards and practices in accordance with professional and hospital standards. This role involves constant interaction with internal and external customers, including patients, families, physicians, employees, and visitors. Responsibilities include assisting in patient care coordination, implementing patient care, maintaining asepsis, performing scrubbing duties, and ensuring proper care of the environment and equipment. The position also requires clinical preceptor duties and adherence to customer service quality standards.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist educational program or an approved Surgical Technology training program through a U.S. Military Training Program
- NBSTSA-Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- BLS certification
- CVOR experience
