Job Summary: Under general supervision, the RN Endoscopy provides nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with health conditions ranging from simple to complex. The role involves delivering competent patient care, assisting physicians during examinations and procedures, administering medications, monitoring patient responses, and ensuring effective communication with patients and their families regarding care plans and hospital procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of nursing experience.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
• Basic computer skills.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
• Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of endoscopy experience.
• Advanced/interventional endoscopy experience.
• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing from a Board Approved Program.
