Description

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Location: Lexington, Kentucky

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Job Summary:
Responsible for performing daily respiratory care procedures, including medication administration via aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, percussion and postural drainage, non-invasive ventilation, mechanical ventilation, CPR, bedside pulmonary function screening, and arterial blood gases. The role requires proficiency in emergency situations, including intubation when applicable.

Required Qualifications:

Associate's Degree in respiratory care
BLS certification
PALS certification
NRP certification
Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care (KBRC) - Respiratory Care Practitioner License
National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) - Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Great interpersonal skills
Good eye-hand coordination
Ability to operate all equipment related to the job
Attention to detail
