Description
Requirements: "Stroke experience and NIHSS are both preferred . Will need to precept and possibly work in the virtual room. This is a Stroke and Neuro floor. They also have ortho and spine patients.
We are a comprehensive stroke center. Ratios 3:1 SD patients and 5:1 all other patients."
Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel
Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed.

Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the RN Neurology provides nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with health conditions ranging from simple to complex. The role involves direct patient care, documentation, assisting physicians, administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with families and support staff to ensure optimal care.
Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of nursing experience.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
- Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (or higher) from a Board Approved Program.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
- Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.
