Job Title: RN - Interventional Radiology - Contract - MSW

Location: Mount Sinai West

Job Summary:
The Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who provides safe, competent quality care based on nursing theory and research to a designated group of patients and significant others. The role involves delivering patient care through the application of the nursing process, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, educating patients and caregivers, and ensuring quality and safety in all aspects of care.

Required Qualifications:

Active NYS RN License
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
1 year of travel experience for travel positions (not required for per diem positions)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with EPIC systems
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Associate degree in nursing considered with relevant experience and/or active enrollment in a BSN program

Additional Information:

Unit Details: 6 pre/post bays and 5 procedure rooms
Staffing guidelines vary
Schedule: 12x8 staggered shifts, including weekdays, weekends, holidays, and on-call requirements
