Description

Job Title: Surgical Tech - CVOR

Location: Paducah, KY

Contract Length: 26 Weeks

Job Summary:
The Surgical Technologist serves as a primary scrub person or assistant for operative procedures. Responsibilities include surgical preparation, assisting during surgical cases, post-case cleanup, and adherence to hospital policies and procedures. The role requires maintaining sterile fields, collaborating with circulating nurses, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Required Qualifications:
- Seven (7) years of experience.
- Technical Diploma from a surgical technologist accredited program or comparable military training.
- BLS certification.
- Certified Surgical Tech (CST) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
- None specified.

Additional Information:
- Completes mandatory hospital education.
- Maintains compliance with HR and Employee Health requirements.
- Follows safe practices in the OR and completes age-specific competency assessments.
