Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. The RN identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Responsibilities include developing and coordinating individualized care plans, performing therapeutic nursing interventions, managing patient care, and advocating for evidence-based practices. The RN provides patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience working in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit in a major acute care hospital setting.
• Strong Med Surg/Telemetry background.
• ASN degree.
• NIHSS certification.
• Telemetry certification.
• BLS-AHA certification.
• CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours certification.
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• ACLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
• BSN degree.

Additional Information:
• Experience in hospice care and taking care of hospice patients is required.
