Registered Nurse (RN) - Tele CWR

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. The RN will identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Responsibilities include developing and coordinating individualized care plans, performing therapeutic nursing interventions, managing patient care, and documenting care based on standards of practice. The RN will advocate for evidence-based care standards and support the adoption of innovative practices in care delivery. Patient-centric care is provided in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.

Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience.
• ASN degree.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• BLS certification (AHA).
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
• NIHSS certification.
• Telemetry Certification.
• CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours.

Preferred Qualifications:
• BSN degree.
• Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam.

Required Skills:
• Proficiency in inpatient unit nursing skills, including foley catheter insertion, IV management, and other related tasks.
