Operating Room Registered Nurse

• Unit: Mission Hospital Main OR. Nurses are trained in all cases.
• New to specialty: OR Cohorts are scheduled for those who do not have OR experience. Upcoming cohort starts on 10/19/2026. Ask Recruiter for more details.
• Experienced Nurses: Nurses who have 1yr of experience will have a 11am-9pm shift with call. Ask Recruiter for more details. 

Provides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions. 

What qualifications you will need:

• Required Experience: One year of RN experience
• Preferred Experience: OR experience
• Required Education: Associates Degree in Nursing. 
• Preferred Education: Masters in Nursing. 
• Required License: Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license may apply, licensee should confirm with NCBON 
• Required Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider 
• Preferred Certification: Certification in area of specialty
