Work Schedule:
100% FTE, day shift between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends, no holidays, no on call. Hours are based off the operational needs of the department. You will primarily work onsite at one of our cardiac device locations. Locations include UW Health Arbor Gate Heart Clinic, UW Health Eastpark Medical Center and University Hospital. Regional travel may be required but will be infrequent.

We are seeking an experienced cardiovascular Registered Nurse (RN) to:
- Manage and coordinate care for patients with Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices (CIEDs) including pacemakers, ICDs, and implantable loop recorders across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Perform device interrogations, patient/device monitoring, and troubleshooting in clinic and hospital environments including MRI, Radiation Therapy, the Emergency Department, procedural areas, and inpatient units.
- Partner closely with the Electrophysiology (EP), interventional cardiology, heart failure, and cardiothoracic surgery teams to support complex cardiovascular patients and optimize outcomes.
- Provide comprehensive patient and family education regarding disease management, device monitoring, arrhythmia symptoms, and follow-up care, while serving as a clinical resource for UW Health and regional healthcare partners.
- Analyze clinical data, support quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to evidence-based cardiovascular device practices through collaboration and process improvement opportunities.
- Thrive in a highly specialized, technology-driven role requiring strong critical thinking, autonomy, and collaboration; a minimum of three years of cardiac nursing experience is required for this position.

Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
Work Experience
- 3 years of nursing experience with emphasis on cardiovascular patient care, including telemetry monitoring Required
- 5 years of relevant clinical knowledge Preferred
- 5 years of experience in a multiple cardiac setting - EP lab, Cardiac Cath lab, or ICU Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care of may work as eligible per state licensing regulations Upon Hire Required
- Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Upon Hire Required
