Work Schedule:
This is a 100% FTE, salaried position. Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am -5:00 pm. No weekends or holidays. Hours are based off the operational needs of the department. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking an RN Oncology Early Cancer Detection Navigator to:
- Be a leader in providing comprehensive preventative cancer care for patients
- Assess patients’ barriers to care, psychosocial, and learning needs to advocate for and support patients and caregivers, collaboratively with teams and support services, as we strive to provide equitable care and outcomes for our patients
- Facilitate timely and coordinated transitions of care, provide anticipatory guidance, reinforce patient and caregiver education, provide guidance in the shared decision-making process, and provide mental and emotional support to patients and caregivers through the continuum of cancer care
- Participate in continuous quality and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Required or
- Associate's Degree in Nursing and achievement of BSN within 4 years of hire Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
- Master's Degree in Nursing, Social Work, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field Preferred
Work Experience
- 3 years of relevant clinical nursing experience Required
- 1 year of nursing experience in oncology care Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Registered Nurse license in the state of Wisconsin Required
- Basic Life Support/CPR Required
- Applicable Oncology certification based on patient population Preferred
