We are looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Haltom City, TX to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients’ homes in accordance with a physician established care plan. This role is a 1099 contract opportunity. Patient's needs include 10 hours/week, split between Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care within the patient's home, under the direction of the RN, and according to the Aide Plan of Care
- Appropriately reports changes in the patient's condition to the RN/the care team and documents pertinent information
- Practices in accordance with accepted infection control principles. Provides a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Provides necessary assistance to patients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, proper nutrition, and adequate fluid intake
- Promotes positive, supportive, and respectful communication with patients/clients, caregiver(s), families, and other employees
- Provides assistance to patients with safe transfers and ambulation per the Agency policies
- Completes yearly education hours
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant certificate
- 1+ years' experience in direct client care, or has provided home health services within previous 24 months
- Current CPR certification
- willing to get TB testing
- Dependable transportation
