Position Details
Position: CT Technologist (CT Tech)
Location: Los Angeles, California
Start Date: July 27, 2026
Contract Length: 6 Months
Schedule: 40 Hours Per Week
Shift Information
Night Shift: 12:00 AM - 8:30 AM
Availability Requirement: Must be available to work every weekend
Training Period
Selected candidates will complete a required assessment/training period:
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Approximately 1 to 2 weeks
Following successful completion, candidates will transition to their scheduled night shift assignment.

Compensation
Local Candidates
- Pay Rate: $65/hour
Travel Candidates
- Pay Rate: $45/hour
- Weekly Pay Package: Up to $3,599/week
- Meals Stipend: $518/week
- Housing Stipend: $1,281/week
Qualifications
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience in an acute care hospital
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center preferred
Required Certifications
- Active ARRT Certification
- California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License
- Venipuncture Certification
- Fluoroscopy Certification
Candidates must possess both Fluoroscopy and Venipuncture certifications at the time of submission.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures following physician orders and facility protocols
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging examinations
- Administer contrast as permitted by licensure and certification
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation within the Orchid charting system
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Adhere to all facility, county, and regulatory guidelines

The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.
- Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
- A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
