Boston, MA | 13-Week Contract | Premier Pediatric Facility
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for an exciting opportunity at a leading pediatric healthcare facility in Boston, Massachusetts. This position offers competitive pay, diverse imaging experience, and the opportunity to work with a specialized pediatric patient population in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Position Details
- Location: Boston, MA
- Start Date: September 7, 2026
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: Varied, Rotating, and Overnight Shifts
- 36 Hours Per Week
- Schedule may include:
- 3x12-Hour Shifts
- 4x10-Hour Shifts
- Weekend availability required
- Schedule determined based on department needs
Compensation
- $75/Hour
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency CT imaging procedures
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety
- Review imaging orders and ensure appropriate exam selection
- Verify patient identity using established protocols
- Perform IV placement as needed
- Assist with X-ray procedures when required
- Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Pediatric CT experience required
- Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License required
- ARRT (R) Certification required
- ARRT (CT) Certification required
- BLS Certification required
- Experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and patient care standards

The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.
- Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
- A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
