Job Opportunity – Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) – Spokane, WA 99204

Start Date: June 8, 2026

Location: Spokane, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30), every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) required. Patient ratio of approximately 7. May be required to float to a sister facility to perform the same duties if overstaffed.

Highlights:

• Work in a 629-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital with Level II Trauma and Pediatric Trauma Center designations
• Conduct crisis risk assessments for both adult and pediatric populations in the Emergency Department
• Provide consultation and level of care recommendations to ED attending providers and APPs for patients with mental health and substance use disorders
• Utilize Epic charting system in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment
• 91-day travel assignment with comprehensive orientation and support

Requirements:

• Active Washington state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience in social work
• Experience conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics required
• Hospital experience preferred
• Epic or other electronic charting system experience required
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
