Job Opportunity – Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) – Spokane, WA 99204

Start Date: June 8, 2026

Location: Spokane, Washington

Schedule: Day shifts, 4x10-hour (07:00 - 19:30), every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Patient ratio of 7. May be required to float to sister facility when overstaffed.

Highlights:

• 91-day travel assignment at a 629-bed Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Conduct crisis risk assessments for both adult and pediatric populations in the Emergency Department
• Provide expert consultation on level of care recommendations for patients presenting with mental health illness and substance use disorders
• Work within an interdisciplinary team using Epic charting system
• Teaching hospital environment with comprehensive support services
• 40 hours of paid orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active Washington state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics
• Hospital experience preferred
• Experience with Epic or similar charting systems required
• Skills in biopsychosocial assessment, individual/family counseling, care coordination, and emergency detention processes
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
