Job Opportunity – CT / X-Ray Technologist – South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150

Start Date: September 14, 2026

Location: South Lake Tahoe, California – situated at nearly 6,200 feet above sea level on the beautiful south shore of Lake Tahoe

Schedule: 10-hour variable shifts, 40 guaranteed hours per week. 13-week assignment (89 days) ending December 12, 2026. Average of 40 scans per day, 15-20 per shift. Night shift will primarily consist of emergency department cases.

Highlights:

• Work at a non-profit community health system serving a Level III Trauma Center with 63 licensed acute care beds
• State-of-the-art equipment including Siemens Perspective 64-slice CT, Philips digital X-Ray, and GE portable X-Ray units
• Perform diagnostic CT scans, CTA scans, and all associated post-processing procedures with Epic system experience preferred
• Opportunity to assist with X-Ray in orthopedic clinics on occasion, providing diverse clinical experience
• Solid color scrubs dress code (navy blue preferred); facility scrubs available for procedure areas
• Scenic mountain location offering year-round recreational opportunities in the Lake Tahoe region

Requirements:

• ARRT (R) Radiologic Technologist registration required
• ARRT (CT) registration required
• Active California Radiologic Technologist license (CRT) required
• California fluoroscopy license required (may be pending at start but must be obtained)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Technologist in both CT and X-Ray specialties
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Provider)
• Ability to complete all CT modality competency forms
• Must be aware of and consent to oral swab testing for THC metabolites on day one of assignment
• Comprehensive compliance documentation including immunizations, drug screening (9-panel without THC), background check, and skills assessments
