Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Room – Albuquerque, NM 87102
Start Date: September 14, 2026
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Schedule: Night shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM). Flexible scheduling with options for 36 or 48 hours per week. At least 6 weekend shifts required in a 6-week schedule. Patient ratio of 5:1.
Highlights:
- 13-week travel assignment in a busy Emergency Department with 40 beds and an average daily census of 90 patients
- First-time travelers welcome; 2 years of ER experience preferred
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, Physical Therapy, and more
- Care for diverse patient populations across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
- Orientation provided with 24-36 hours of onboarding support
- Overtime available after 48 hours per week
Requirements:
- Active New Mexico or Compact RN license (pending license accepted if obtained prior to start date)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
- Preferred certifications: TNCC, CPI
- Epic charting system experience preferred
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred; previous charge experience a plus
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the assignment location
- Competency in ER skills including IV management, blood product administration, ventilator care, arterial line management, dysrhythmia interpretation, and triage
