Job Opportunity – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Spokane, WA 99204

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Spokane, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00), every other weekend required, block scheduling. 13-week assignment with 48-hour shifts approved.

Highlights:

• Work at a 629-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital with Level II Trauma and Pediatric Trauma Center designations
• Comprehensive patient care including floor care, emergency department, code response, and rapid response
• Diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics with 1:11 ratios
• Epic charting system with free parking provided
• Opportunity to work in specialized units including Level 4 NICU, Medical ICU, Cardiac ICU, and PICU
• 36-40 hours of orientation to ensure successful onboarding

Requirements:

• Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist license required at time of submission
• Current RRT certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience; at least 1 year required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Pediatric and emergency department experience preferred
• Proficiency with ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP, ABG interpretation, and airway management
• Experience with Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Trilogy, and LTV1250 equipment preferred
• Willingness to float between units as needed
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
