Description
Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse Care Manager – York, ME 03909
Start Date: October 19, 2026
Location: York, Maine
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. No call required. Weekend and holiday rotation is required.
Highlights:
- 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Work within a collaborative hospital setting serving Southern Maine and the New Hampshire seacoast
- Coordinate concurrent utilization management activities house-wide as the main link between patients, healthcare teams, and payors
- Lead interdisciplinary care rounds, conferences, and care planning initiatives
- No on-call responsibilities
- Two positions available
Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Active RN license
- 3-5 years of clinical experience in medical/surgical nursing, home care, hospital case management, or utilization review
- Utilization review and discharge planning experience required
- Active BLS certification required
- CCM or ACM certification preferred
- Certification by a nationally recognized case management or utilization review organization preferred
