Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Case Manager – Burbank, CA 91505

Start Date: November 2, 2026

Location: Burbank, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30). Typically one full weekend per 4 weeks, subject to department needs. Patient caseload up to 25 patients.

Highlights:

• 26-week travel assignment at an acute care facility
• Manageable caseload with a 1:25 patient ratio during day shifts
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations in a case management setting
• Business attire or scrubs accepted
• 40 hours of paid orientation to ensure successful onboarding
• Epic charting system experience required

Requirements:

• Active California RN license (pending licenses accepted but must be active by start date)
• Minimum 2 years of acute medical care manager experience performing care coordination and discharge planning
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with HMOs, IPAs, and assessing patients for care coordination
• Knowledge of admission criteria, medical necessity determination, DRG, CPT coding, CMS guidelines, and HIPAA compliance
• Previous travel experience preferred; first-time travelers considered with screening
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Commitment to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
