Job Opportunity – Surgical Technologist – Olympia, WA 98506

Start Date: October 2026

Location: Olympia, Washington

Schedule: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (06:45 - 17:15). Weekend shifts will be scheduled and required. On-call coverage required up to 5 shifts per month, including potential weekend call.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment at a 325-bed short-term acute care facility
• Diverse surgical specialties including Orthopedics, General, Neuro, Thoracic, Vascular, GYN, Urology, Robotics (daVinci & Mako preferred), and ENT
• Daily census of 13-18 cases with Epic charting system
• Opportunity to work with advanced robotic surgical platforms and complex procedures
• First-time travelers accepted with minimum 2 years of experience
• 40 hours of paid orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active Washington State Surgical Technologist license (must be in hand at submission; pending licenses not accepted)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of surgical technology experience
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Proficiency in aseptic technique, instrument processing, and care of scopes and fiber optic equipment
• Experience with laparoscopic and robotic-assisted procedures strongly preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel contract
• Willingness to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Flexibility to float to nearby sister facilities as needed
