Description
Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)
Location: West Hollywood, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: 3x12 hour shifts, alternating weekends
- Weekend Requirement: Alternating weekends
- Floating: Required based on department needs
- On-Call: Not required
- Case Load: Approximately 18-23 patients per shift
- Scheduling Requests: Not accommodated
- Pending License: Not allowed; license must be active at time of submission
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in California
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID required
- Background check within 6 months of start, including criminal and education verification
- Physical exam within 1 year confirming ability to meet essential job functions
- Fit mask test within 1 year, updated annually (clinical/allied candidates only)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year; additional requirements if history of positive TB
- Drug screening within 1 year (specific panels required; marijuana/THC excluded)
- Immunizations:
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - 2 doses or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccine series, titer, or declination
- Varicella - 2 doses or positive titer or proof of disease history
- References: 2 professional references required, at least 1 supervisory
Additional Notes
- Photo for badge must meet strict facility requirements (passport-style photo)
- Various competency exams and certifications may be required upon orientation (e.g., ACLS, NIH Stroke Certification, EKG competency)
- Fire card training required within first 6 months of assignment
- Must comply with facility-specific policies including code of conduct, attendance, social media, confidentiality, and job hazard acknowledgements
