Medical Technologist Travel Position

Location: Palmer, Alaska
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM), Thursday through Saturday
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Perform laboratory testing with a focus on Blood Bank and Antibody Identification
No floating required
Call may be possible
No 48-hour shifts
Electronic Medical Record system used: Cerner
Facility size: 125 beds

Required Qualifications

ASCP MLS Certification
Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
4 to 5+ years of experience, including 2 to 5+ years specifically in Blood Bank and Antibody Identification
Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility at the time of submission

Additional Notes

Scrub color: Royal Blue
Travelers must include permanent home address on submission
Social Security Number must be included only on the tax tab of the candidate's profile, not in emails or submission packets
Return to Office blackout on July 4th
