Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Surgery
Location: Savannah, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Overview
- Operating Room with 30 total ORs, including 2 Cardiovascular Operating Rooms (CVOR)
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Staffing: 1 RN and 1 Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) per room
- Documentation system: Epic
- No floating to other units
- Dress code: Ceil blue scrubs (provided by self)
- Procedures performed: CABG, TAVR, AVR, MVR, thoracic surgery, AAA repair
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
