CT Technologist

Location: Lancaster, Ohio
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 4-10 hour shifts (7:30 PM to 6:00 AM), Monday-Thursday, no weekends
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Perform diagnostic CT examinations and assist physicians with invasive CT procedures.
Prepare examinations for interpretation and maintain radiation safety.
Operate CT and related equipment, including GE VCT and GE Revolution CT.
Administer oral and intravenous contrast media under physician direction or protocol.
Transport, move, and position patients safely.
Assist physicians with special CT procedures.
Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities related to CT.
Perform and document diagnostic CT exams as ordered by approved healthcare providers.
Ensure proper handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver.
Analyze CT exams for quality control.
Prepare completed exams for radiologist interpretation.
Operate facility-based computer systems.

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Ohio
Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
Maintain annual Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
