CT Scan Technologist
Overview
- Location: Hackensack, New Jersey
- Schedule: 3:30 PM - 11:00 PM
- Hours: 40 per week
- Contract length: 11 weeks
- Weekend requirement: Every third weekend
- On-call: May need to cover 1 weekend of on-call obligations
Role Summary
- Performs CT procedures and related techniques to produce sectional and 3D images for interpretation and support interventional and therapeutic procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in New Jersey
- CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Graduating from a Radiologic Technologist program or possessing a High School diploma or its equivalent
- CT TECH
Required Skills
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology and radiological positioning of the human body
- Understanding of CT software and hardware
- Thorough knowledge of PACS
- Ability to maintain CEU credits
Certification Timeline
- ARRT (CT) certification within 12 months of hire
- BLS certification within 3 months of hire
Preferred
- 6 months of CT experience
- ARRT certified R.T.(CT) license
