Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Facility & Unit Overview
- Community hospital and regional referral center with 171 beds
- Joint Commission Accredited
- Certified Chest Pain Center
- Level 3 Trauma Center
- Cath Lab Department
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
- Call requirement: Minimum 10-12 shifts per month, including up to two weekend calls per month
- May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility
Patient Population & Unit Focus
- Cardiac Cath Lab patients
- Procedures include Cardiac Cath, Interventional Radiology (IR), Impella, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), and atherectomy
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, including experience within the last year
- Experience with Impella, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), atherectomy, and Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
