Neurodiagnostic Tech Level 1
Location
- Edison, New Jersey
Schedule
- 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- 5x8 hours
- Weekends and holidays as needed
- On-call required
Assignment Length
- 22 weeks
Required Qualifications
- EEG Technician (1 year of experience)
- EEG Technician experience within the last year
- ABRET Certification (EEG)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
- Experience in a(n) Outpatient setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Natus and Nihon Kohden systems
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate’s degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent
Role Overview
- Performs standard and complex neurodiagnostic procedures under moderate supervision
- Provides technical assistance and training to students
- Completes documentation for departmental records and patient procedures
- Supports department goals and development of new programs involving the Neurodiagnostic Lab and Epilepsy Unit
