Job Summary:
Perform routine and ambulatory EEGs in the department as well as bedside routines for adults and pediatrics. Perform Long Term Monitoring hookups for all inpatient populations. Work in a wide variety of hospital environments (ICU, regular floor) with patient types including neonate through adult patient populations.

Required Qualifications:

• Two or more years of Neurodiagnostic/EEG technology experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure a safe environment for patients.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate/Certificate from an accredited Neurodiagnostic Program with a completed clinical Neurodiagnostic internship.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of start.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with MEG procedures.
• Previous experience working in a hospital setting.
• Experience with EPIC and NATUS systems.
• ABRET - R. EEG T certification.

Additional Information:

• Demonstrates competency in seizure pattern recognition and provides technologist impressions to physicians.
• Applies electrodes using the 10-20 international system and ensures technical quality of data.
• Monitors patients during testing and collaborates with physicians for interpretation.
• Maintains equipment and ensures proper care to prevent damage.
• Communicates effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and colleagues.
