RN – Labor and Delivery

Job Overview

Location: Carthage, Tennessee
Employment type: Travel
Contract length: 13 weeks
Weekly hours: 36
Openings: 1

Unit Setting

Labor and delivery, nursery, and postpartum units
25-bed critical access hospital
Labor and delivery department with 2 labor beds and 3 postpartum beds
Patient ratio: 1:2

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
1 year of Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS
AWHONN
BLS
NRP
Fetal monitoring experience
Nursery experience
Post Partum experience

Schedule Details

Orientation is weekly on Mondays
Every other weekend, rotating as needed
3 call shifts per 4-week schedule
Float as needed

Additional Notes

Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered travel
Required certifications must be completed before start
Dress code allows any scrub color
