RN PCU Travel Assignment

Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Unit Overview
- 40-bed cardiac stepdown/progressive care unit
- Patient population includes CHF, MI, chest pain, arrhythmias, pulmonary hypertension, valvular disease, endocarditis, DKA, and post-cardiac cath/stent or pacer/ICD/ablation patients
- Bedside cardioversion is performed on the unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- ACLS
- Telemetry experience
- Experience with titratable or cardiac IV medications such as nitroglycerin, Cardizem, amiodarone, dopamine, dobutex, insulin drip, heparin, bumex, or Lasix
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with prostacyclins
- Relief charge experience
