Labor and Delivery Nurse

- Hours per week: 36
Role Details
- This role is for an LDRP nurse working between Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby.
- Float is required.
- The role involves working with the prison population.
- First-time travelers and locals are accepted at the same rate.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Nursery experience
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
- NRP
- EFM
- STABLE
- CPI or MAB
- NIHSS
Orientation
- Orientation includes split 8-hour shifts, followed by two 12-hour department orientation shifts.
Additional Notes
- Government-issued photo ID is required.
- Social Security card or SSN is required for system access.
- Background check and other standard compliance documents are required before start.
- COVID vaccination is required, with medical or religious exemptions considered.
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required.
