Registered Nurse

Location

Longview, Texas

Schedule

Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Full-time
Travel assignment

Contract Length

13 weeks

Patient Population / Unit Focus

General IMC
Neuro, respiratory, cardiac, and GI patients
Patients receiving triage-level care, 3 drips, and BiPAPs

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing
EPIC experience

Role Summary

Provides independent nursing care for assigned patients
Performs assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
Administers medications and treatments
Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care
Educates patients, family members, and caregivers
