CT Tech
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in Apple Valley, California
- 18-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
- Variable schedule; must be open to all shift times
- Day and night shifts are both used
- High need for graveyard shift
- Weekends may exceed every other to meet unit needs
- Start date: ASAP
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in California
- CT Technologist (2 years of experience)
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- ARRT
- ARRT Advanced
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Community hospital experience
Work Conditions
- Very high-volume, fast-paced acute care hospital
- May be asked to transport patients based on staffing
- Self-scheduling based on seniority
- No call
- No floating between like units
- Block scheduling may be accommodated based on unit need
- RTO must be included at time of submission
- Facility may call off once every two-week pay period
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Pending license is not accepted
- Must be open to working 3 of 5 major holidays
- GE and Toshiba equipment are used
- Free parking is available
