Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Overview
- Employment type: Travel
- Location: San Antonio, Texas
- Unit: Cardiac Cath/EP Labs
- Unit size: 4 Cath Lab rooms total, including 2 Cath Labs and 2 EP Labs
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Texas
- Cath Lab Technologist (1 year of experience)
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- RCIS or RCES or ARRT
- ACLS
- BLS
- Complex PCI experience including Impella placement and management
- Complex PCI experience including IABP placement and management
- GE Mac Lab recording experience
- Electrophysiology Technician experience
Preferred Qualifications
- EP Lab experience, including EP device placement, EP ablations, and EP studies
- Peripheral vascular intervention experience
- Flexibility with scheduling
- Ability to take extra call

- Right/Left heart caths
- PCI and Complex PCI
- Diagnostic/Interventional peripherals
- EKOS
- PFO occluders
- Nitric Oxide studies
- Pacemaker/ICD implants
- EP Ablations
- Watchman implants
- Interventional Radiology
Floating
- Cath Lab
- EP Lab
Call Requirements
- Must be within 30 minutes of the facility to meet call requirements
- On call Monday–Friday approximately 1–2 nights per week, from 1530–0700
- On call 1 weekend per month, 24 hours Saturday and Sunday
