Role overview

Travel RN assignment on 2 North – Med-Surg in a 24-bed unit.

Required qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS
ACLS
Telemetry experience with 2 years of experience
Telemetry experience within the last year
Postoperative (postop) care experience
PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience

Preferred

PALS
NIH
2 years experience or more

Unit details

36 staff
Patient ratio: 1:6
Floating area: ICU for MedSurg overflow patients
EMR: Meditech Expanse (PCS)

Schedule

36 hours per week
13-week contract
4-week schedule
Must sign up for every other weekend or 2 weekends
Holidays required
RTO must be pre-approved
