Requirements:
Must have a valid TN RN License or Compact RN License in good standing
Minimum 1 year of L&amp;D experience

Requested Skill Set: Level II experience and Postpartum experience

Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE

Must Have:
Experience in Level II care and postpartum
Strong L&amp;D clinical background
Advanced Skills Needed:
IV initiation
Phototherapy
Bubble CPAP maintenance
Tube feeding
NAS care
Preterm infant care
NRP skills
Management of low blood sugar newborns

Procedures Performed on Unit:
Lumbar punctures
Circumcisions
IV medication administration
Assisting NP with various procedures

Unit Specifics:
Number of Beds: Up to 10 beds
Patient Ratios: 1:3–1:6
Unit Staffing: 1 nurse

Equipment: GE monitors
Documentation System: CPN

Scheduling Requirements:
3 night shifts per week


Patient Experience Requirements:
At least 1 year of Level II experience

Certifications Required:
BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE

Additional Information:
NNP in-house 24/7

Dress Code (Required Uniform):
Uniform supplied for nurse
