Description
Tripod Partners is seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist with CT experience to join a high-performing diagnostic imaging team. This role is ideal for a confident, patient-focused professional who enjoys working across multiple modalities and providing high-quality imaging services.
About the Role
In this position, you will perform a range of technical radiographic and CT assignments, exercising advanced clinical judgement, accuracy, and strong knowledge of Radiologic and CT Technology principles. You will conduct diagnostic studies across various patient groups—including infant, pediatric, adult and geriatric populations—while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic radiographic and CT examinations as requested, including studies with and without IV contrast (brain, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, spine, facial bones, extremities).
Operate radiographic, CT, and associated imaging equipment with precision across multiple modalities.
Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and accuracy of positioning in accordance with procedure guidelines.
Provide clear, reassuring communication to patients to ensure comfort throughout procedures.
Maintain competency in at least two imaging modalities.
Follow strict infection control procedures and Universal Precautions.
Ensure radiation protection measures for patients, yourself, and colleagues using appropriate collimation, lead shielding, and safety techniques.
Demonstrate flexibility by participating in emergency call coverage on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Utilise RIS and PACS effectively to enter/edit patient exams, charges, scan documents, and record necessary data.
Meet NYSDOH Part 16 guidelines and complete required quality control activities.
Perform imaging using portable radiographic equipment when required.

This role involves reasonable anticipation of occupational exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Tasks may include contact with blood, body fluids, or tissues. Full training and PPE are provided.

Tripod Partners USA Job ID #17. Pay package is based on 9 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
