Schedule:
Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Includes holidays, on-call responsibilities, and callback coverage based on unit needs.

On-Call Requirement:
2–3 on-call shifts per month

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated CT Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team in Rochester, New York. The successful candidate will perform high-quality CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic results in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Confirm patient identity and verify examination details prior to initiating scans in accordance with departmental safety policies and procedures.

Coordinate with physicians and healthcare staff to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging.

Prepare patients for CT procedures and clearly explain exams to promote comfort and cooperation.

Insert IV lines when required for contrast administration.

Properly position patients for imaging, including safely assisting patients with limited mobility using approved patient-handling techniques.

Maintain accurate patient documentation within EPIC, ensuring images are correctly identified and transmitted to the PACS system upon completion.

Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant scanning environment.

Required Qualifications

Completion of formal training from an approved School of Radiologic Technology.

Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Valid New York State (NYS) licensure (must be obtained prior to start date).

Injection therapy certification listed on NYS license at time of submission (for currently registered NYS HCPs).

Minimum of two (2) years CT experience.

Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma Center.

BLS Certification (American Heart Association only).

Preferred Qualifications

Injection certification preferred (must be willing to complete during orientation if not already obtained).

Experience with Philips and Siemens CT equipment preferred.
