🕒 Shift: Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
⏱️ Scheduled 36 Hours/Week (No Guarantee)

We are hiring an experienced Registered Nurse – Flex Pool for a contract opportunity in beautiful Hilo, HI. This role will float between multiple medical and surgical units, providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital setting.

Units Covered:
• Medical Unit
• Laulima Surgical Acute Unit
• Cardiovascular Unit (rare occasions)

Responsibilities:
• Provide patient care across Med-Surg and Step Down units
• Monitor patients, administer medications, and coordinate treatment plans
• Adapt quickly to different unit workflows and patient populations
• Maintain accurate charting and communication with care teams
• Support safe and efficient patient outcomes across floated units

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Active Hawaii RN License required by start date (apply upon acceptance if not active)
• BLS required
• ACLS required
• PALS, TNCC, ENPC preferred

Equipment/Systems:
• EPIC / Meditech EMR
• Pyxis
• Wound Vac
• Chest Tubes

Important Note:
Traveler must arrive the Thursday before start date for Employee Health appointment on Friday.
