Join a dedicated nursing team for a **13-week travel assignment** providing comprehensive obstetric care while supporting the medical-surgical unit as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for an adaptable RN with experience across the obstetric continuum.

### Requirements

✔ Active Iowa RN License
✔ Current AHA BLS Certification
✔ Current ACLS Certification
✔ Current PALS Certification
✔ Current NRP Certification
✔ Min 3 + years of Experience as an RN in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Recovery and Med/Surg
✔ Willingness to Float to the Medical-Surgical Unit when Obstetric Census is Low
✔ Experience with **EPIC EMR** preferred

### Responsibilities

* Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, postpartum, and recovery.
* Assess, monitor, and care for mothers and newborns during all phases of the birthing process.
* Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
* Educate patients and families on postpartum care, newborn care, and discharge instructions.
* Float to the Medical-Surgical unit to provide patient care when there are no obstetric patients.
* Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation using **EPIC EMR**.
