A CT Tech is urgently needed at an Orthopedic Hospital in Manhattan to perform both CT Scans and X-Rays. Candidates must have ARRT R & CT certifications, a New York State License, and IV certification.

Role Specifications:

• Dual-Modality Role: Must be ARRT R & ARRT CT certified, holding a NYS License and IV Certification.
• Equipment Experience: Proficiency in operating Siemens equipment is required.
• Daily Caseload: Up to 20 patients involving all age groups from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Patient Settings: Includes orthopedic exams in exam room settings or with portable equipment across multiple departments.

Experience Required:

• Work Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient, ER, Adult ICU.
• General Skills: Use of portable equipment.
• X-ray Procedures: Experience required in Extremities, Spine/Pelvis, Head, Chest/Thorax, Musculoskeletal, Lower and Upper Extremities.
• CT Procedures: Familiarity with procedures of the Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, Multiplanar Reconstruction.
• Software Experience: Experience with Epic is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment exceeding 150 pounds, with or without assistive devices.

Travelers:

First-time travelers are accepted. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.

Dress Code:

Scrubs should be Charcoal Grey.

Certifications/Licenses:

BLS, ARRT, DOHNYS, and IV Certification are mandatory.
