Description
- Experience in ICU, ER, and MS roles is relevant, but previous perm or per diem staff may not work as travelers at the mentioned hospital.
- Only one submission per need is allowed for this facility.
- Full SSN, DOB, and RTO must be provided for submission.
- Prior travel experience is preferred but not required.
- Scheduling is based on facility needs; no self or block scheduling.
- A New York State license is needed at submission, though screening can occur without it.
- Screening to the manager is possible if the healthcare professional has at least one year of experience in the specified specialty.
- Avoid including photo IDs and SSN cards in the submission package.
Orientations: - RN/LPN orientations are bi-weekly. ER RNs orient every other Tuesday; other RNs/LPNs orient every other Monday. - Allied health orientations occur weekly on Mondays.
Attire: - Details about scrub colors and shoe requirements are provided in unit details. - No artificial or gel nails and no chipped polish are allowed.
General Info: - Covid and flu declinations are accepted. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from either AHA or American Red Cross must be obtained prior to work commencement. - All compliance documents are due seven days before starting work. - The electronic medical records system in use is Cerner. - Travelers are expected to float between units within their competencies.
Position Details: - Hospital CT Tech position with evening shifts from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., including a 30-minute unpaid break. - Specific working days vary over a two-week rotation with weekend requirements. - A minimum of one year of experience is accepted if it meets facility standards. - An ARRT certification is necessary, along with an injection certificate for the NYS license at submission. - BLS certification is required, and applications can proceed with proof of a pending NYS license. - Monthly on-call duty is required, including one weekend day. - The interview and offer process are managed internally.
