Role Description:
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist with a focus on critical care. Candidates must have extensive experience working in a Level 1 trauma facility and recent critical care experience in both MICU and SICU. Proficiency in lung protective ventilation and participation in Code Blue teams is essential.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of recent experience in relevant settings.
- Certification: RRT certification, MA Respiratory Care license, BLS.
- Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Level III NICU, Drager XL and v500 ventilators.
- Preferred Certifications: NPS and/or ACCS.
Skills:
- Experience with EPIC systems required.
- Ability to make informed ventilator decisions based on patient assessments and laboratory results.
