ICU Traveler Float Position
Overview: This position involves floating to Medical HVCC, SICU, and IMC within a 32-bed Medical ICU, also licensed for Neuro Critical Care patients. The ICU is split between two floors, ensuring staffed coverage.
Unit Details: - Unit Size/Beds: 32 Beds - Expected Ratios: 1:2 or 1:1 based on acuity - Cases Seen: Sepsis, ESRD & AKI requiring CRRT/CVVH, post-cardiac arrest care, respiratory failure
Experience and Certifications: - Experience Preferred: Minimum of 1 year in a Level 1 ICU, or 2 years preferred in a MICU setting - Certifications Required: NIHSS, BLS, ACLS (Both through American Heart Association)
Additional Information: Strong ICU nurses with solid backgrounds are highly preferred. New graduates with only 1-year experience may not be suitable for this unit.
